Promo Voice Over

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could land such a massive gig. Every now and then I still have to pinch myself! It’s such a privilege to have children across the continent hear my voice as they tune in to watch their favourite programs.

Promo voice acting is a very specific style of voice acting. It’s highly exaggerated and unnaturally energetic; sentences are delivered in short bursts; and yet you want to sound natural and genuine.

Over time I have found my “Fox Family Movies Voice”, the nuances, rhythm and intonation. If you’re looking for a voice to bring hype and yet be loveable, book me now!

Commercial Voice Over

At the end of the day, business is about connecting with people. When I voice for a product I connect firstly to the client, asking questions like what is your message, why are you passionate about your product/service, what do you want your customer to feel and gain from you?

I make sure I understand how the client wants their customer to feel and the message they want to portray while also communicating information clearly.

If you’re looking for a fresh, sophisticated voice for your project book now!

Children’s Entertainment

My biggest booking to date is being the voice of Fox Family Movies Asia. It’s such a privilege to have children across the continent hear my voice as they tune in to watch their favourite programs.

There’s a softness and fun-ness to my personality that makes me approachable to children. With experience working at Hong Kong Disneyland and teaching young children I am a natural with kids.

If you’re looking for someone to voice your project that is geared towards kids, look no further! Book now! Maybe it’s an e-learning program, or an animation series, or you’re selling children toys! Book now!

Government Ads and Radio PSAs

I started my voice career in Hong Kong, the city I grew up in. I have voiced countless radio PSAs and government commercials. They seem like simple jobs but you must take into account pacing, tone and diction. Radio PSAs need to be exactly 30 secs long, friendly, yet informative. Call me a nerd but I love doing PSAs! People need to know the T!

On top of PSAs, I’ve voiced for the tourism board and other government ads. It’s been such an honour to be included in local projects that celebrate our city.

Dubbing

My very first voice over job was dubbing for Korean and Japanese TV series. You’d be surprised just how difficult it is! You’re watching, reading, listening an speaking all at the same time with no rehearsal.

It’s never a dull day sitting in the studio with other talented voice actors.
